A poorly shot, chromed-out Cygnet for your time
I think I saw someone asking a similar question the other day, but I don’t remember what the consensus was: given the sheer number of CL ads, etc. in which the owner uses a blurry thumb to obscure their plates, should I be worried about posting car spots without redacting plate info? Am I somehow violating privacy? I wouldn’t think so, but years of bearing witness to this kind of strange trend has given me pause...
Also, what if the license plate text is the noteworthy feature of the car? What if, hypothetically, I saw a very clean-looking Chevy SS this morning with the plate “MPALABU” and I wanted to share? Causing me stress.

...but you could already in person, a photo doesn’t change that.

Nope too much effort to obscure something that is publicly displayed.

Yeah that’s why I was asking... For all the thousands of people who see my license plate every day in person, how does a photo change much at all?

What is the app? I have tried to find address and/or name info from a plate number before and couldn’t. I went to the police and even they wouldn’t do it for me even though the person driving the car in question had crashed into me! I had the plate number from the police report.

Oh cool, good to keep in mind if I ever need it. When I went to the android app store it looks like there’s a bunch of free ones for India but not America for some reason. What do you use it for?

I used it a lot when i lived at these apartments and people will park in my spot. Now, for youths that park in front my yard leaving trash.
I may or may have not used it to get revenge on someone who threw coffee on my car as well.

I’d Lego stuff considered appropriate material for LALD?
